There is nothing more exciting than using your own freshly cut, home grown herbs in your cooking and salads.
Burnet is an attractive plant growing to about 30cm tall.
Its dark green leaves of slightly bitter flavour, similar to that of cucumber is ideal for salad use.
The plant produces pretty little red flowers and is evergreen.
This herb is not really suitable for drying as the leaves tend to lose their flavour
