Tendergreen is a medium long pencil podded type of light green with distinct purple markings which disappear on cooking. This variety is virtually stringless and a good freezer. This family of beans is frost tender and cannot be sown until the weather has warmed up.,

Early sowings in a glasshouse or cold frame in individual pots or modules. Direct sowings in growing site, 2 seeds 5cm (2") deep every 20cm (8") in rows 60cm (24") apart.
WHAT TO DO NEXT
Glasshouse seedlings should be gradually hardened off before planting outside in late May to the spacings above. Direct sowings should be thinned to single seedlings as soon as large enough to handle. Water regularly.
