Christmas comes to life at Mill Race in October each year with approximately half of the indoor area being transformed into a glittering display of lights and decorations.

Our resident Christmas designers, Carole and Liz, start working in January on ideas to ensure that each of the six room sets are individual and different, creating an impressive display of themed trees to suit every home.

You will find a wide range of spectacular decorations, including baubles, hanging decorations, ribbons and bows as well as candles and candle holders. Ceramics, novelty hats, advent calendars, nativity sets, toys and fun items as well as sweets and Christmas fayre are also in abundance.

Our Christmas lighting section is full of wonderful ideas including wicker and wire lit items as well as traditional tree lights and silhouettes. The Lemax Christmas village, proved so popular last year that the in house lighting designer, Dusty, decided to double the size and range available this year. Possibly the largest and most impressive display includes miniature fibre optic trees, lighted buildings as well as musical items and figurines.

From the end of November, as well as fresh Nordmann Christmas trees in sizes from 4 ft to 9 ft (larger trees available to order upto 18ft), a wide range of fresh natural foliage, wreaths, garlands, swags and table decorations are also available. These can be purchased either un-decorated or decorated to your specification by our resident on site florists.
